CARs Standard 566, Appendix A: The Table of Requirements

Appendix A to CARs Standard 566 is a table that summarizes the specific training, experience, and examination requirements for each AME licence rating, applied together with the requirements described in the body of the standard. Rather than restating requirements separately for M1, M2, E, S, and Balloons in prose, Transport Canada tables them side by side so each rating's figures can be compared directly.

You find the row for the rating you're applying for, then read across horizontally to see that rating's specific figures for each requirement category — training hours, total experience months, specialty experience months, civil-aviation experience months, and so on. The categories themselves are defined in the body of Standard 566: "total" experience means experience in maintenance of aeronautical products generally (aircraft, engines, propellers, components, systems, and structures), while "specialty" means experience specific to the kind of work defined for that rating.
