Based on DGCA’s instructions for Regular Session 03 of 2026. Instructions are re-issued for every session — always read the one for yours.

Admit card

Your admit card shows the exact date, time and venue. The session instructions advise downloading it from Pariksha three days before the examination, and the User Manual advises printing it (preferably in colour) at least one day before the first examination. A proper admit card is mandatory for entry.

Identity documents

Along with a valid admit card, carry one original photo ID from the list in the instructions — for example a passport, Aadhaar, voter ID, a BCAS airport entry card, defence identity card, or a 10th/10+2/diploma/degree certificate or mark list that carries your photograph.

In the hall

Electronic gadgets — including calculators, phones, smart or ordinary wrist watches and any recording or communication device — are not allowed inside the hall, even switched off, and DGCA does not provide safe custody. Breaks are allowed once after the first hour, one candidate at a time, and not in the last 30 minutes. Follow the supervisor’s instructions; misconduct can invalidate the examination.

Finishing, reporting a problem, and misconduct

When you finish, raise your hand and stay seated until the invigilator clears you to leave; you must sign the attendance sheet before leaving, or the examination may be treated as null and void.

If you notice an anomaly in a question on screen, the instructions say to report it on the form (Annexure 3) available with the invigilator.

Candidates who misbehave or use unfair means can be expelled from the venue, disqualified in all subjects and debarred from DGCA examinations temporarily (up to five years) or permanently, or have their results withheld.
